Herm's Inn: Before Photo - Canyon Road, Logan, Utah

I was just granted permission by the photographer to use this photo, taken of the Herm's Inn building on Canyon Road in Logan in 2007 before it was restored and renovated and became the restaurant we know today. Check out this before and after! I'll be adding the photo to my review of Herm's Inn.

  1. I have a few photos of the building after the restoration. If you want to use them here you are welcome to if you cite me. I've eaten there once. The food was ok, I didn't particularly LOVE everything, but nothing was bad. I think the most enjoyable part was sitting in the dining room along the south wall with all those windows open, soaking up a lovely spring morning.

    1. I enjoyed my food, but my appetite was certainly piqued by the wait. And it's funny what expectations do to us. When I saw the menu my expectations for the food were lowered, so when the food arrived it was better than I thought it was going to be. I agree that the building is the real highlight. I noticed on the original architect's rendering that the east addition was going to be a completely open-air patio. Glad they figured out a workable revision that makes it an "outdoor" experience in good weather and keeps usable indoor space for our Cache Valley (falls)WINTERS(springs).
